Please join the Friends of Lafayette park for a “Cleaning and Greening” workday on the first Saturday of each month, this month on June 7th.  Help maintain the park and get to know your neighbors.  Work includes planting, weeding, cleaning, and more.  The event starts with coffee, pastriy, and conversation, follwed by work with the SFRPD gardeners.  Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.  Tools and gloves are provided.  Meet at the picnic tables at the south end of the Children’s Playground.  (Note, when the first Saturday falls on a major holiday, the workday is scheduled for the following Saturday.
